James Wood

James Wood serves as the Senior Vice President of Lending and Chief Lending Officer at Y-12 Federal Credit Union, a position held since June 2020. Previously, James held the title of Vice President of Lending and Chief Lending Officer at Clearview Federal Credit Union from July 2012 to June 2020, where lending increased significantly, with overall loans growing from $360 million to $770 million, primarily through organic growth. James has extensive experience in the lending sector, including roles as an independent consultant at Dynamic Financial Resources and various positions at Achieva Credit Union and Corporate America Family Credit Union. A recipient of the President's Award for outstanding leadership, James's management style emphasizes a hands-off approach and "managing by walking around." James holds a BS in Business Administration from Milligan College and has participated in the CUES Business Schools program focused on business lending.
