Katelyn Clayton has extensive experience in talent development, currently serving as Manager of Talent Development at Y-12 Federal Credit Union since April 2009, where previous roles included Team Lead, Talent Development Specialist, Assistant Branch Manager, and Member Service Consultant. Prior to this, Katelyn worked as a Family Care Specialist at Catholic Charities of East Tennessee from May 2008 to August 2009. Katelyn holds a Master of Arts in Talent Development from Tusculum University, completed between 2018 and 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earned in 2008.

The Credit Union was chartered in 1950, to serve the employees of the Union Carbide Y-12 Nuclear Weapons Production Plant. In 2003 the Credit Union switched to a community charter and now serves 117,000+ members in 8 counties.
