Kandarp Jani has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical research. They started their career as a Research Intern at Base Pair Biotechnologies, Inc. in 2015. In this role, they gained valuable research skills.
Later, Kandarp joined Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2017 as a Research Tech. Here, they focused on cellular studies of transcriptional CDK inhibitors and worked with different cell lines. They were involved in various tasks, including RNA and protein extraction, cell cycle analysis, and ChIP-sequencing for specific transcription factors. They also gained experience in CRISPR/Cas9-based genetic deletion techniques.
In 2019, Kandarp moved to NYU Langone Health as a Senior Research Tech and worked until 2020.
Currently, Kandarp is employed as a Research Associate at Y-mAbs Therapeutics, Inc. starting from June 2021.
Kandarp Jani pursued their education in a chronological sequence. Kandarp began their academic journey at the University of Pune from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacy. Following this, they enrolled at Northeastern University and studied from 2014 to 2016, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Nanotechnology.
