Y-Säätiö
Teija Ojankoski has a diverse work experience. Ojankoski started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Turku in 1999 and worked there until 2001. Ojankoski then joined the City of Vantaa in 2002 as the Director of the Housing Department, where they were responsible for various housing authority tasks and developing housing strategies until 2009. From 2010 to 2022, Teija worked as the CEO of VAV-Consern, which consists of several companies under the City of Vantaa. Ojankoski'smain role was to oversee the construction, maintenance, and leasing of rental houses. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of Y-Säätiö.
Teija Ojankoski earned a Master of Science degree in Urban Geography from the University of Turku in 1993. Ojankoski pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D in Urban Geography from the same university in 1998.
