Jeffrey D. Freeland

Jeffrey D. Freeland, MSA, PMP (Colonel, Retired) has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Jeffrey D. has held various leadership positions in both the military and civilian sectors.

Starting in 2000, Freeland served as an Engineer Major and LTC Assignment Manager at the United States Army Personnel Command. Jeffrey D. then went on to hold the role of J7, Director of Engineering at the Mobile Engineer District, Joint Task Force Bravo, Honduras from 2002 to 2003.

In 2003, they became the Battalion Commander of the 37th Engineer Battalion (Combat) (Airborne) in Mosul, Iraq, under the 18th Airborne Corps. Jeffrey D. held this position until 2005, concurrently serving as the Branch Chief of the Engineer Branch at the Human Resource Command United States Army.

Freeland's experience extended to the international arena as they served as the Director of Oil Development in the Energy Services Division at the Multi-National Force Iraq from 2008 to 2009. Jeffrey D. then transitioned to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, JIEDDO, where they assumed the role of Division Chief of J5, Strategic Plans/Policy, Interagency/International from 2009 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2017, Freeland worked at Lanmark Technology, Inc., first as a Senior Analyst II in the Integration Operations Division, JIEDDO, and then as a Program Manager in the Capability Acquisition Center.

Jeffrey D. then joined Y-Tech, LLC. in 2017, holding multiple roles as Vice President, Army Programs and Vice President. Jeffrey D. continued their career as a Program Manager at Credence Management Solutions, LLC from 2022.

Jeffrey D. Freeland, MSA, PMP (Colonel, Retired) has a diverse education history. Jeffrey D. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Technology from Norfolk State University between the years of 1980 and 1985. In 1997 and 1998, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. From 2007 to 2008, they furthered their education by earning a Master of Science degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of The Armed Forces (ICAF). Additionally, they completed the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Academy in 2013. Furthermore, they have also acquired knowledge in Systems Planning, Research, Development, Engineering, Risk, and Acquisition Procedures/Management from the Defense Acquisition University (DAU).
