Mauricio Garza

Mauricio Garza has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mauricio currently works as a Product Manager at Y TREE since 2022. Previously, they served as a Product Manager at Look After My Bills, a London-based startup, from 2018 to 2022. At Look After My Bills, Mauricio delivered optimization experiments to improve conversion and switch success rates for the onboarding experience.

Before that, Mauricio worked as an Electromechanic Designer at Schneider Electric from 2013 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for product development, design validation, prototyping, testing, and documentation.

Furthermore, they gained valuable experience as a Design Intern at Carbide Source in 2012, where they contributed to the development of standardized design documentation templates and worked on 3D imaging and process documentation for industrial cutting tools.

Mauricio also has a background in project production, having worked as a Project Producer at Encuadre from 2005 to 2011. In this role, they successfully executed photography and film projects for both B2C and B2B markets. Their responsibilities included customer requirements elicitation, service tailoring, customer relationship management, team coordination, development of project execution plans, and deliverables tracking.

Additionally, Mauricio had a brief stint as a Design Intern at Dos Maquinas in 2011. Mauricio started their career as a Customer Care Representative at Teleperformance in 2008, where they managed critical customer interactions, resolved conflicts, and clarified issues for mobile phone users in the U.S. Hispanic market segment.

Mauricio Garza completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León between 2008 and 2012. In 2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Systems Engineering Management at UCL, which they completed in 2018. Additionally, in August 2016, they obtained a certification in Systems Thinking In Public Health from Coursera Course Certificates.
