Waqas Ahmed

Waqas Ahmed is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Yabu Pushelberg since January 2020, Waqas oversees project profitability analysis, financial closing processes, and team management. Prior experience includes serving as a Financial Consultant for Wataniya Water, where Waqas performed financial analyses for capital investments, and as Assistant Director of Finance at Anantara Hotels, responsible for budgeting and financial reporting. Previous roles include Finance Manager at Katara Hospitality and Assistant Manager Accounts at ENGIE, focusing on financial reporting and compliance. Waqas began a career in audit with Ernst & Young, progressing from staff to manager-level responsibilities.
