Carlos Silva Abreu

Carlos Silva Abreu is an experienced frontend developer currently working at Yacooba Labs since November 2021, contributing to a blockchain-based community platform using React on TypeScript, Cypress, AWS, and GitHub Actions. As the head organizer of the Madeira Blockchain Conference in 2023 and the Denites Madeira Blockchain Conference in 2022, Carlos has demonstrated significant leadership in the blockchain community. In addition, Carlos is the founder and organizer of GDG Madeira, aimed at supporting local developers, and holds various positions at Universidade da Madeira, including membership in the Senate and the Disciplinary Commission. Carlos also served as Secretary of the Fiscal Council at FADU Portugal and held a frontend developer role at Asseco PST, specializing in banking software development. Carlos completed a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Universidade da Madeira from 2014 to 2020.
