Amitay Cohen

Amitay Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Amitay currently holds the position of VP Data in the F&A Division at Yael Group, starting from March 2022. Before that, from May 2017 to March 2022, they served as the VP and Head of Advisory and PPM Delivery Services at Proceed.

Amitay has also worked in academia, holding multiple positions at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Amitay was a Lecturer at the Engineering Science faculty in the Industrial Engineering department from 2010 to 2020. Additionally, they served as the Academic Manager and Chief Lecturer from 2011 to 2019 and as a Lecturer at the Israeli Air Force Academy from 2011 to 2014.

In terms of their professional consulting experience, Amitay worked as a Manager - Advisory Services at EY from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they held various roles at Comverse, including PMO, Quality and Regulation Team Leader from 2007 to 2011, and Planning & Control Manager from 2004 to 2007. Amitay also worked as a Planning & Control Manager at Biosense Webster from 2003 to 2004.

Earlier in their career, Amitay served as a Business Analyst at Amdocs from 2000 to 2003 and as a Planning & Control Engineer at Bovis Lend Lease, BG2000 Project from 1996 to 2000.

Amitay Cohen has a diverse educational history. In 1994, they attended Tel Aviv University, where they obtained a Practical Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering & Management. Amitay then proceeded to pursue higher education at Ruppin Academic Center from 1997 to 2000, earning a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering & Management. In 2006, Cohen enrolled at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, completing their Master's degree in Science of Management (MSM) in 2007. Lastly, in 2014, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for an Executive Program, though the field of study is unspecified.
