Darci G.

Darci G. currently serves as the Global Head of Inclusive Design and Accessibility at Yahoo, a position held since October 2023. As a Co-Founder of Moms in Tech® since 2017, Darci has actively contributed to empowering women in the tech industry. Previous experience includes leading a team of over 20 UX Content Designers at Facebook from 2017 to 2021, resulting in a significant increase in community connections on the platform. Darci held the role of Head of UX Writing for Apple Media Products from 2006 to 2017, where responsibility included creating a UX voice that reached over 800 million users. Earlier roles span from Senior UI Writer at Apple to Information Architect/UI Writer at Walmart.com, and Instructional Designer at Apple Computer. Darci holds a BA in Psychology and Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity from Stanford University, along with an AA in Psychology, Multicultural Studies, and Speech Communication from Foothill College.
