Eric Feng

Eric Feng currently serves as the Head of Yahoo Research Group since July 2025 and is a Co-Founder and General Partner at Gold House, a social impact venture capital fund supporting Asian and Pacific Islander entrepreneurs, since November 2021. Previously, Eric co-founded and led Cymbal as CEO from January 2022 to August 2025, where blockchain products and games were developed before the company was integrated into Yahoo. Eric also held the position of Head of Commerce Incubations at Facebook from January 2019 to June 2021, overseeing the launch of Facebook Live Shopping. Prior experience includes co-founding and serving as CEO of Packagd from January 2016 to January 2019, an e-commerce platform funded by notable investors and later acquired. Eric holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, awarded in January 1999.
