Jim Otto

Jim Otto possesses extensive experience in telecommunications and voice engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager of Voice Engineering at Yahoo since November 2012 and as Senior Manager of Voice Collaboration at Verizon since June 2013. Prior to these roles, Jim held positions such as Cyber Security Infrastructure Supervisor in the United States Air Force, Senior Manager of Global Product Support at Genband, and Software Delivery Manager at Tekelec. Jim's career in telecommunications began at Nortel, where responsibilities included research and design in DMS systems. Jim's foundational experience includes product support and engineering management at companies like XO Communications and Newport Networks, along with military supervisory roles from 1982 to 1993. Educationally, Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix from 1993 to 1996.
