Luke Thompson

Luke Thompson is an experienced journalist with a strong focus on sports and outdoor activities. Currently serving as a reporter for Yakima Herald-Republic since November 2016, Luke covers various outdoor issues and high school sports in the Yakima Valley. Previous roles include freelance contributions to ussoccer.com, high school sports reporting at The Shreveport Times, sports reporting at FOX Sports Midwest, and various reporting positions at other publications, including The Leaf-Chronicle and The Augusta Chronicle. Luke holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and participated in a semester abroad at Sciences Po.
