Derek Steinbacher

Derek Steinbacher is a seasoned plastic surgeon with extensive experience in various leadership roles within Yale New Haven Health and Yale University School of Medicine, holding positions such as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Chair of the Department of Dentistry. Since May 2019, Derek has also contributed as an author at Aesthetic Orthognathic and Rhinoplasty. Educationally, Derek has an MD from Harvard Medical School and completed multiple residency programs, including Plastic Surgery at The Johns Hopkins University and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital. Additionally, credentials include a DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and a Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania in Physical and Biological Anthropology.
