Elizabeth Watson

Elizabeth Watson's work experience includes various roles and positions at different organizations. In 2023, they volunteered at the American Red Cross at Yale. Elizabeth served as Editor in Chief and Visual Arts Director at Hippo Literary Magazine from 2021 to the present. Elizabeth was a Windham-Campbell Festival Student Committee Member at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library in 2023. At Yale Scientific Magazine, they were the Social Media Head in 2023 and the Social Media Coordinator from 2022 to 2023. Elizabeth was involved in the Longitudinal Care Coordination Department and Referrals Department at HAVEN Free Clinic from 2022 to the present. Elizabeth also worked as a Student Researcher for the Yale Clinical Neuroscience Group for Neuroanalytics at Yale University School of Medicine from 2022 to the present. Elizabeth held roles at Yale Daily News as the Science & Technology Editor from 2022 to the present and as an Associate Beat Reporter and Illustrator from 2021 to 2022. Lastly, they were a Shift Leader at the Hypertension Awareness and Prevention Program at Yale (HAPPY) from June to August 2022.

Elizabeth Watson attended Vanguard College Preparatory School from 2017 to 2021. In 2020, they also took summer courses at Rice University in "Stars, Galaxies & The Universe" and participated in a Summer Intensive Program at The Johns Hopkins University. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (E&EB) and Humanities at Yale University, scheduled to be completed in 2025.
