Michael Sarullo

Synapse Events Coordinator at Yale Scientific Magazine

Michael Sarullo is an accomplished individual currently serving as an Undergraduate Researcher in Computational Pharmacology at the Yale Cancer Center, focusing on molecular dynamics modeling to enhance personalized cancer treatments. Additionally, Michael is an Executive Board member for Yale iGEM, acting as a liaison for computational biology and synthetic biology projects. With experience in software development as an intern at Amazon and a background in machine learning and bioinformatics, Michael has contributed significantly to projects ranging from medical documentation to allele-specific expression research. As Director of Events and Outreach for Yale Scientific Magazine, Michael has organized conferences and essay contests, while also producing scientific journalism pieces. Michael's education includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, complemented by an Associate of Arts in Computer Science from Palm Beach State College.
