Dan Corcoran

Dan Corcoran is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media and public relations. Currently serving as the Chief Communications Officer for Social Media at Yale University, Dan oversees content creation and management for the university’s social media accounts while collaborating with the Office of Public Affairs & Communications. Previously, Dan hosted a podcast for Global Atlantic Financial Group and worked as a Public Relations Consultant for Theirsay. Dan’s career at NBCUniversal included roles as Digital Anchor, Evening Anchor, Investigative Reporter, and Weekend Evening Anchor, where Dan received multiple awards for impactful journalism. Additionally, Dan contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Quinnipiac University, teaching journalism principles. Dan's foundational education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Certificate in Broadcasting from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
