Lina Lin

Lina Lin is currently a member of the Committee on Teaching, Learning and Advising and serves on the Student Advisory Board at the Poorvu Center for Teaching & Learning at Yale University. As an Investment Committee Member of Yale Smart Woman Securities, Lina manages a $60K portfolio and evaluates public equities bi-weekly. Lina is a co-founder of a stealth startup focused on digital reselling and holds the position of Grata Scholar, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. At PhelpsForward, Lina participates as a Program Scholar in the Summer Investment Academy, learning investing principles and financial modeling techniques. Previous experiences include a Summer Finance Associate role at Spring Mountain Capital, participation in MetLife Investment Management's Future Leaders Program externship, and a KKR Scholar position, analyzing alternative investments. Lina founded the Global Youth Economics Forum, which became the largest pre-professional society with 1,200 members. Lina Lin is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Global Affairs at Yale University and has completed a certificate program in Big Data for Big Policy Problems at Cornell University.
