Madhusudhan Venkadesan

Madhusudhan Venkadesan is an accomplished academic serving as an Associate Professor at Yale University since November 2014, previously holding the title of Assistant Professor. Venkadesan has a strong research background, having served as a Reader-F at the National Centre for Biological Sciences from February 2011 to October 2014, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from June 2008 to December 2010. Earlier experiences include a Postdoctoral Associate position at Cornell University from January 2007 to May 2008. Venkadesan earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University between 2000 and 2007, preceded by a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, completed in 2000. Educational foundations were laid at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Kalpakkam, and Hollywood Senior High School in Australia.
