Milad Shirani is a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University since September 2023, focusing on thermodynamic-based mathematical models for immuno-mechanics and immune cell recruitment. Previously, Milad held roles as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, from July 2016 to June 2023, where accomplishments included co-authoring a book on plate and shell theories and developing methods for modeling the mechanical behavior of fibrous metamaterials.
