Susan Gibbons

Susan Gibbons currently serves as Chief of Staff to the President and holds multiple titles at Yale University, including Vice Provost for Collections & Scholarly Communication and University Librarian. Gibbons has extensive board experience, serving on the National Museum and Library Services Board, SAGE Publishing Board of Directors, and the Board of Trustees for ITHAKA, among others. Previous roles include Vice Provost and Andrew H. & Janet Dayton Neilly Dean at the University of Rochester, with a focus on libraries and digital initiatives. Gibbons holds an Ed.D. in higher education administration from the University of Rochester and multiple degrees in library science and history from Indiana University and the University of Delaware.
