Michael Sfalcin

Michael joined the Yaletown team’s Toronto office in 2019. For more than 10 years, he worked at the intersection of the technology and finance industries. In his many capacities as co-founder, investor, and consultant, he has sourced, managed, and completed dozens of investments.

Before joining Yaletown, Michael helped a Schedule A bank re-enter the technology lending market. He was also an Investment Director with a venture capital and venture debt firm for five years, leading more than 15 successful investments.

Michael began his career with a seed-stage incubation and investment firm that was created and financed by a successful entrepreneur. After graduating from McMaster’s University DeGroote School of Business, he completed an MBA in management of innovation and new technology and finance.
