Mohamed Shawky has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2021, they Co-Founded Yalla Pay and OKAB. In 2022, they Co-Founded GeekSEC and Forrera. From 2012-2021, they were the Chief Technology Officer for Yalla Dealz UAE. From 2013-2016, they Co-Founded Yalla Marketing Agency and Future Life Style LLC., and was the Chief Technology Officer for Yalla Dealz Egypt from 2019-2021. From 2014-2021, they were the CEO of Capsula Training & Events.

Mohamed Shawky obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Ain Shams University between 2000 and 2005. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Digital Transformation Specialist, Chief Technology Officer Career Guide, EXIN Agile Business Professional, EXIN BCS Artificial Intelligence Foundation, EXIN Blockchain Foundation, EXIN Cloud Computing Foundation, and EXIN Digital Transformation Officer from LinkedIn, as well as a Digital Transformation: From AI and IoT to Cloud, Blockchain and Cybersecurity certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2020, they obtained a DASSM certification from the Project Management Institute. Mohamed also has certifications from MBA Direct, Fortinet, eMarketing Association, Marketing Associates, Cisco, Microsoft, and Cambridge University Press. In 2022, they obtained Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum and International Sports Sciences Association certifications. Mohamed is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Digital Transformation from Paris ESLSCA Business School.
