Mark Fernandes

Mark Fernandes serves as a Managing Director at Sierra Ventures, a position held since February 2002. With extensive experience in the technology and investment sectors, Fernandes has participated in various ventures as a board member, including Reify Health, Spectro Cloud, Yalo, Paro.ai, and Sikka Software. Notably, Fernandes contributed to the success of Sourcefire as a lead investor and board member, resulting in an IPO and subsequent acquisition by Cisco for $2.7 billion. Fernandes has a strong educational background with an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
