Heidi Van Hiel has been with Yamagata Europe since September 2002, where Heidi currently holds the position of Operations Manager and also leads the Translation QA / MT and Tools development team. Prior to this, Heidi worked at Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products from December 1995 to December 2001 as a computational linguist. Heidi received their master's degree in Japanese Studies from KU Leuven in 1994 after studying at Kansai University from 1994 to 1995.
