Jie Weng

Jie Weng's work experience includes serving as the Chief Product Officer at Yami since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the SVP Engineering and Products at Chowbus from 2021 to 2022. From 2014 to 2021, they held the position of Vice President and GM at Coupang. Before that, they worked at IBM as a Program Director in Customer Analytics, Product Management, and ExperienceOne from 2012 to 2014. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the Sr. Director Product Management and Consumer Products and Customer Analytics at DemandTec, an IBM Company. Earlier in their career, they co-founded TrueDemand Software, where they served as the Director of Product Management from 2004 to 2009. Jie also worked as an Angel Investor at Adara in 2007 and as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Mayfield Fund in 2004. Jie'scareer started at SAP Labs as a Research Scientist from 2000 to 2004 and before that, they worked in research at Motorola from 1997 to 2000.

Jie Weng pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University between 1995 and 1999. Following this, they attended Stanford University and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from 1999 to 2001.
