Wei Ma

Wei Ma is the current CTO at Yamibuy. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Engineering Manager for Disney Consumer Products and Interactive from April 2013 to April 2018. In this role, they led a team to build and support a cutting edge end to end Big Data/Analytics system that covers Web, Mobile, Social and eCommerce platforms. Wei also supported business and analyst insight teams for daily operations and actively participated in the Disney corporate level strategic efforts to design, build and promote cross division corporate data and personalization platform.

Wei Ma has extensive experience in building and supporting cutting edge internal big data platforms. Wei was instrumental in building and expanding the data platform service to ESPN and Disney international. Wei successfully implemented the CTO data platform for data analytics and CRM operations for media steaming service in Europe such as Disney Life, FTA watch app and EST app that covers Mobile, TV and Web user base.

Wei Ma has an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a M.S. in Computer Engineering from University of California, Santa Cruz.

Wei Ma reports to Alex You Zhou, Founder & CEO. Wei Ma works with Faith Kun Wan - Global Head of Human Resources, Kenneth Yu - Senior Director, Strategy and Project Management, and Julia K. - Chief Of Staff.
