Cristopher Shadbolt

Cristopher Shadbolt currently serves as General Manager at Yancoal Australia Ltd, with a tenure starting in September 2018. Prior roles at Yancoal include Operations Manager for Moolarben Coal Open Cut and Yarrabee Coal, as well as Mining Manager. From December 2017 to August 2018, Cristopher held the position of Senior Consultant at Project Engineering Solutions Ltd, focusing on enhancing safety and productivity for various clients. Cristopher's extensive experience at BHP from June 2007 to November 2017 encompassed roles such as MAC MOS Project Lead, Production Superintendent, Superintendent Transformation – Integration & Excavator Rate Lead, Open Cut Examiner, Mining Supervisor, and Plant Operator, showcasing a strong background in mine operations, project management, and team development. Cristopher is currently studying for a Master's in Mining Engineering at UNSW and holds an Open Cut Examiner qualification.
