Mark Cheal

Mark Cheal is an experienced professional with a diverse background in maintenance management and optimization within the mining and correctional sectors. Currently serving as a Correctional Officer at Qld since June 2020, Mark has also held the position of Business Optimisation Analyst at Yancoal Australia Ltd since July 2019. As Mechanical Superintendent at Yarrabee Coal Company since January 2017, Mark oversees daily operations of the Open Pit Maintenance Department, ensuring compliance with maintenance standards and safety regulations. With previous roles including Electrical Superintendent at Yancoal and Maintenance Planning Consultant at Gregory/Crinum, Mark has developed a strong expertise in maintenance planning, scheduling, and project management, complemented by a degree in Maintenance Management from CQUniversity.
