Michael Tansley

Michael Tansley is an experienced Reliability Engineer with a robust career spanning over two decades in the mining and resource sectors. Currently employed at Yancoal Australia Ltd since September 2017, Tansley has previously held significant positions at Rio Tinto Coal Australia as a Condition Monitoring/Reliability Advisor and at Freeport Indonesia, where crucial contributions included establishing the condition monitoring group and training engineers in vibration analysis. Tansley’s expertise focuses particularly on draglines and shovels, complemented by a previous role as Area Manager at Monitek.
