Anna Shanova is a Global Consumer Insights Lead and Ethnographer with extensive experience in market and customer intelligence. Currently serving as the Market & Customer Insight Lead at Yandex since 2023, Anna is responsible for scouting insights, leading product discovery research, and mentoring a team. Previously, Anna held senior management roles at Kia Motors RUS from 2018 to 2021 and was a Senior Market Research Specialist at Toyota Motor Russia from 2012 to 2018. Anna also leads research at Digital Finance International, focusing on market strategies for fintech products in various countries. Anna holds two Master's degrees in Sociology from the National Research University Higher School of Economics and the Higher School of Economics, as well as additional education from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
