Evgeny Kharitonov

Evgeny Kharitonov has extensive experience in software development and team leadership, currently serving as Java Team Lead for the sorting centers team at Yandex since May 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of four backend developers. Prior to this role, Evgeny improved the recommendation infrastructure for Yandex. Zen and developed social features for the platform. Between January 2016 and May 2018, Evgeny was a Java Team Lead at BPC Banking Technologies, managing a team of developers and working on an Agency Banking project tailored for remote regions. Earlier experience includes a position as Software Developer at Scantech, focusing on payment terminal management systems, and a brief tenure as a Student Software Developer at Jet Infosystems, contributing to the development of an IMAP4 mail server. Evgeny holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
