Mikhail Pakhomov

Mikhail Pakhomov is a Technical Product Manager at Yandex since October 2024, previously serving as a Middle Data Scientist at BIOCAD from June 2021 to October 2024. In this role, Mikhail developed and maintained analytical web services for the industrial biotechnology sector, focusing on mathematical algorithms, statistical tools, and machine learning solutions for process analysis. Mikhail also conducted research on anomaly detection and designed ETL pipelines for data collection. Prior to this, Mikhail worked as a Junior Data Scientist, building machine learning models and maintaining ETL pipelines. Between May 2023 and April 2024, Mikhail was a Data Scientist at Aramco, specializing in geospatial data research and forecasting multivariate time series. Mikhail holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, a Master's degree in AI in the Industry from ITMO University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at ITMO University.
