Vasily Ershov

Vasily Ershov is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and computer science, currently serving as the Cloud ML Tools Team Lead at Yandex since July 2014, focusing on GPU, ML tools R&D, and ASR. Prior to this role, Vasily contributed to the development of the GPU version of CatBoost and engaged in machine learning research as a software developer. Academic achievements include a PhD in Computer Science from Saint Petersburg State University, along with a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, all obtained from the same institution.
