Yanti Innovative Electromotive Solutions Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) Repair Technician.www.ylabs.pro To join our dynamic team. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of SMPS units used in electric vehicle battery charging, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards and performance criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

Problem Solving and Fault Finding: Identify and resolve issues with SMPS units, utilizing advanced problem-solving techniques and fault-finding methodologies. Circuit Analysis: Analyze SMPS circuitry to understand functionality, identify potential failure points, and develop effective repair strategies. PCB Repair: Proficiently repair and modify printed circuit boards (PCBs) to rectify faults and optimize performance. Power Electronics Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in power electronics principles, including AC-DC and DC-DC conversion, to effectively repair SMPS units. Component Knowledge: Thorough understanding of components such as MOSFETs, integrated circuits (ICs), capacitors, resistors, and diodes, and their role in SMPS operation. Soldering and Desoldering: Perform precise soldering and desoldering operations to replace faulty components and ensure reliable connections. Datasheet Interpretation: Interpret component datasheets to select appropriate replacements and ensure compatibility with SMPS specifications. Alternate Parts Identification: Identify suitable alternate parts when original components are unavailable or obsolete, maintaining performance standards. Testing and Diagnosis: Utilize multimeters, digital oscilloscopes, and other specialized equipment to conduct thorough testing and diagnosis of SMPS units. Repair and Maintenance: Execute repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately, adhering to company guidelines and best practices. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons for SMPS failures and implement preventive measures. Qualifications and Skills:

Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a SMPS repair technician or similar role, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry. Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit analysis, and PCB repair techniques. Proficiency in soldering, desoldering, and component-level troubleshooting. Familiarity with datasheet interpretation and alternate part identification. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to document repair processes accurately.
