Jorge Plasencia C. has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Jorge started their career at ICCGSA as a Finance Management Intern, where they developed documentation for payment processes. Jorge then interned at Mondelēz International as an LA Supply Network Design Intern. After that, they worked as a Trainee in Transport and Distribution at GMP | Graña & Montero Petrolera, the largest oil and gas company in Peru.

Jorge then joined ITPerforma as a Business Intelligence & Analytics Consultant, where they deployed Tableau Server and implemented the Alation data catalog in Interbank. Jorge later became a Data Governance & Analytics Consultant at the same company, focusing on exceeding customer expectations.

Jorge then transitioned to Banco de Crédito BCP, the largest Peruvian bank, where they led the Data Governance initiatives in the CRMA squad. In this role, they played a crucial role in the transformation of dreams into reality for customers.

Jorge also worked at Keyrus as an Ssr Data Governance, Strategy & Analytics Consultant, and later as a Lead Data Engineer & Data Governance Advisor NOLA. In these roles, they provided data governance advice and expertise.

Currently, Jorge is working at Yape as a Data Governance Senior and the lead for the Data Catalog & Data Observability Platform. Yape is the largest digital wallet in Peru and part of Credicorp, the largest financial holding in Peru.

Jorge has also shared their knowledge and expertise as a Visiting Lecturer on the Data Science Program at UTEC - Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología.
