Deniz Gokcen

Deniz Gokcen has a diverse work experience in the field of product and platform development, network management, and software engineering.

Starting in 2022, Deniz holds the position of VP of Product, Platform at Yapily. Prior to this, Deniz worked at Vonage from 2018 to 2022, where they served as the Director of Product, Platform Services and Product Manager - SIP & Connectivity.

Before joining Vonage, Deniz worked at Garanti Teknoloji from 2011 to 2018, initially as a Senior Network Engineer, then as a Specialist, and eventually as a Senior Network Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for solution architecture, administration, and monitoring of the VoIP network of Garanti Bank, providing support for Cisco Unified Communications and troubleshooting complex problems.

Deniz's early career was at Nortel Netas from 2007 to 2011, where they held the position of Software Design Engineer. Here, their responsibilities included developing Call Control, Resource Management, and Port Process software, as well as participating in field tests for unified communication servers designed for the Turkish Armed Forces.

Overall, Deniz Gokcen has a strong background in product and platform development, network management, and software engineering, with experience in various positions and organizations.

Deniz Gokcen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Yildiz Technical University from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Haci Malike Mehmet Bileydi Anadolu Lisesi from 1995 to 2002, where they focused on Mathematics and Science in high school.

In addition to their formal education, Deniz Gokcen has obtained several certifications. They earned the PSPO 1 certification from Scrum.org in April 2018, the CCNA Voice certification from Cisco in September 2014, the CCNA certification from Cisco in October 2011, and the CCNA Collaboration certification from Cisco in September 2017.
