Magnus Krogh Ankarstrand

Magnus Krogh Ankarstrand serves as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Yara International, where responsibilities include strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate affairs, and global innovation. In addition, Magnus holds the position of President of Yara Clean Ammonia, overseeing global ammonia operations and the development of green and blue ammonia projects. Previously, Magnus was President of Yara North America, managing commercial, supply chain, and production activities. Additional roles at Yara included Chief Financial Officer of the Industrial segment and Director of Strategy and Business Development, focusing on corporate strategy and supporting business units in strategy development and M&A projects. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group and Division Commander in the Royal Norwegian Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Magnus holds a BSc in Nautical Engineering from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and an MSc in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics.
