Ray Segars

Ray Segars, C.E.M. is a seasoned professional in energy management and sustainability with extensive experience across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as a Solutions Consultant at Yardi since August 2022, Ray leads the launch of the EnergyStar Certification program and assists clients in complying with Building Performance Standards. Prior to this, Ray held the position of Director of Business Development at the Association of Energy Engineers, where the focus was on expanding the organization’s reach. Ray's tenure at Yardi from July 2018 to April 2021 involved consulting on energy and cost-saving solutions through the Yardi Pulse suite. Additionally, Ray was a partner at CONSENSUS ENERGY, LLC, conducting energy audits and project verification, and served as CEO and Energy Consultant for Advanced Energy Resources + Expo Energy & Environmental, addressing extensive utility issues for diverse clients. Ray’s career began at Georgia Power Company, where various management roles were held. Ray holds a BS in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and both an MS in Marketing and an MBA from Georgia State University.
