Joshua Giowaya has over 14 years of professional work experience. Joshua started their career in 2008 as a Computer Programmer for DreamWorld Studios. In 2009, they joined ShopJimmy as a Web Developer. In 2012, they took on a freelance role as a Web Developer & Graphic Designer for The Alt Bike and Board. In 2014, they joined Linnihan Foy as a Lead Sr. Web Developer - Consultant and Rocket 55 as a Front-End Developer, Freelance. In 2016, they joined Code42 as a Sr. Software Engineer. In 2021, they joined Self Esteem Brands, LLC as a Lead Software Engineer. Joshua is currently employed at Yardstik as a Sr. Software Engineer and has been since 2022. Additionally, they have been an Independent Web Designer & Developer, Consultant since 2007.

Joshua Giowaya attended Minneapolis College from 2012 to 2014, studying Graphic Design and Interactive Media. Joshua also attended Minneapolis Community and Technical College from 2012 to 2014, where they earned an Associate's degree in Interactive Media Design and Development.
