Tarik Haddad

Tarik Haddad is an accomplished filmmaker and educator with extensive experience in the film industry. Since February 2013, Tarik has been the founder of the POV Short Film Festival at Yarmouk University, marking a significant addition to Jordan's cultural landscape by establishing the first academic film festival in the country. In addition to festival organization, Tarik serves as a film instructor at Yarmouk University, teaching various aspects of filmmaking including cinematography and directing. Previous experience includes working as a film instructor at Jordan University of Science and Technology and role as a video editor intern at One to One Box. Tarik is also self-employed as a director and cinematographer, specializing in short films, documentaries, music videos, and commercials. Educational qualifications include an MFA in Motion Picture & Television from the Academy of Art University and a BFA in Drama with a focus on film production from Yarmouk University.
