Alberto Gay has a diverse work experience starting from 1997. Alberto worked as a Yield Diagnostics Engineer and Process Engineer at International Business Machines, where they focused on implementing and improving processes. At Hewlett Packard, they served as an Installation/Tooling Engineer responsible for introducing a new packaging line, as well as Lead Manufacturing Engineer and Process/Manufacturing Engineer, where they consistently drove process and quality improvements. Alberto also worked as a Production Manager at Mars Petcare, overseeing production, managing a team, and delivering on various metrics. Currently, they are an Associate Chief Engineer at Yaskawa Motoman.

Alberto Gay earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Walden University between the years of 2000 and 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their degrees, Alberto Gay possesses several certifications, including ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society of Quality, and Professional Engineer licenses from the State of Ohio, Commonwealth of Virginia, and Puerto Rico.
