Joerg Rommelfanger

Joerg Rommelfanger is a seasoned professional in the robotics industry, currently serving as the President of Robotics for the DACH Region at YASKAWA Europe since August 2025. With extensive experience at ABB from July 2012 to August 2025, Joerg held roles including Head of the Robotics Division in Germany and Head of the Automotive Business Line, overseeing P&L responsibilities and delivering automation products and turnkey solutions across various sectors. Prior to ABB, Joerg worked at KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH as the Head of Robot Cutting Systems and at carat robotic innovation GmbH as the Head of Software Development and Commissioning for Industrial Robots. Joerg's academic credentials include a Dipl.-Ing in Mechatronics from Hochschule Bochum and a Betriebswirt IWW in Management from IWW Fernstudium Hagen.
