Aleksander Gerard-Ursin has a diverse work experience. Aleksander is currently working as a Controls Engineer at Yaskawa Solectria Solar since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Electrical & Control System Engineer at SICdrone from May 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they played a crucial part in developing the autonomous flight control system and electrical system of the SD5 drone. Aleksander also developed a model of the drone's BLDC Motors and their controllers using Simulink. Before venturing into engineering, Aleksander worked as a Sales Consultant at Storm Group - better sales for a brief period in 2017. Aleksander started their career as a Frontliner at GREENPEACE-NORGE in September 2015.

Aleksander Gerard-Ursin pursued their education at Tufts University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Alongside their academic endeavors, they also obtained a Black Belt 1. Dan certification from the World Taekwondo Corporation in December 2014.
