Khalid Al-Otaibi, MSc, PE, currently serves as General Manager at PRefChem since May 2023 and has held various leadership roles at Saudi Aramco since July 2015, including Division Head of Downstream Process Engineering and Coordinator of the Refining & Chemicals FP Division. Additionally, Khalid has been a Board Director at TEAM Terminal.B.V. since January 2016, representing Saudi Aramco in a joint venture for crude oil storage and sales in North West Europe. As an Operation Superintendent at Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF) Ltd. since January 2014, Khalid ensures the safe and reliable commissioning of refinery complexes. Armed with a Master’s degree in Sustainable Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Khalid's expertise spans over two decades in various engineering and managerial capacities, including roles as Engineering Manager at Samsung Engineering and Lead Process Engineer at Saudi Aramco.
