Sam Bochiwal is an accomplished digital marketing professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on digital strategy, performance, and growth. Currently serving as the Digital Marketing Manager at Yates since October 2022, Sam has also operated as a Digital Marketing Consultant since March 2012, providing ROI-driven strategies for businesses. Previous positions include Digital Marketing Lead at DuluxGroup, Head of Performance & Growth at Shout Agency, and Digital Strategy Manager at Contevo and Truer Marketing, where notable clients included Disney and Swarovski. Earlier roles encompass Digital Strategist positions at GMG Digital and Social Media Team Pty Ltd, along with UX/UI consulting for prominent projects. Sam holds a Master's degree in Commerce from Federation University Australia and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

A little bit of history from Yates Yates was founded by Arthur Yates, an Englishman who migrated to New Zealand in 1879. The seed business that Arthur opened in Auckland in 1883 was the beginning of what was to become one of the most recognised names in Australian and New Zealand gardening. In 1886 Arthur visited Sydney, where he saw an opportunity to establish a similar enterprise in Sussex St, Sydney. The Yates Garden Guide, is a great gardening book that is still published more than 110+ years later with over 7 million copies in circulation.
