YazaIT is a Malawian, student-led online learning platform designed to support university students studying Information Technology and related courses. Launched on 13 August 2025, the platform was created to make IT education easier to understand and more accessible for students across Malawi.

YazaIT was built on a simple idea: the best way for students to learn is often from fellow students who understand the same challenges, syllabus, and learning environment. By aligning lessons with actual university course outlines and explaining concepts using relatable Malawian examples, learning becomes clearer and more practical.

Unlike general platforms such as YouTube, where students often watch whatever content is available, YazaIT allows students to choose exactly what they want to learn based on their course outlines.

The platform provides on-demand lessons tailored to university syllabi, explanations that incorporate Chichewa and relatable Malawian examples, access to a digital library of books and academic resources, a student chatroom for tutor and peer interaction, and access to YazaAI, our AI-powered learning assistant.

Through affordable monthly subscriptions, students gain full access to these resources and can learn at their own pace, anytime and anywhere.

YazaIT’s mission is to empower Malawian students with accessible, locally relevant IT education while building a community where knowledge is shared among students.
