Hussain Darwish

Hussain Darwish is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive software and systems sector. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at Yazaki North America since September 2016, Hussain leads a diverse team to ensure the successful development and integration of complex automotive projects, focusing on quality, budget, and timelines. Previously, Hussain held roles such as Software Engineering Department Manager and Software Project Manager, where responsibilities included managing electronics software engineering and leading global teams on advanced programs involving Functional Safety and Cybersecurity. Prior to Yazaki, Hussain worked at VECTOR North America as Team Manager and Project Engineer, overseeing embedded software development, technical pre-sales, and business development for major vehicle manufacturers. Hussain's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Economics and an MBA from Wayne State University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Saginaw Valley State University.
