Gonçalo Martins Ribeiro has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Gonçalo is currently working as the Startup Data lead at the Center for Responsible AI, where they collaborate with research centers, startups, and industry leaders to develop innovative AI products leveraging Responsible AI technologies. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the CEO of YData, a data-centric platform that improves the quality of training datasets for AI solutions. Gonçalo has also been actively involved in the Data-Centric AI Community and the AI Infrastructure Alliance as a founding member. Additionally, they have contributed to the MLOps Community as a core contributor. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager - Data at Winning Scientific Management, a Software Engineer at Aptoide, a Software Consultant at Novabase, and a Software Engineer at Segware do Brasil.

Gonçalo Martins Ribeiro's education history begins with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro, which they completed from 2007 to 2012. In 2010 to 2011, they pursued an ERASMUS program at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, where they focused on Computer Software Engineering.

Moving forward, Ribeiro pursued further studies in management. Gonçalo attended the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in 2016 for a General Management Program. Later in 2016 to 2017, they obtained a Master's Degree in Management with a specialization in Program and Project Management from INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education.

In terms of additional certifications, Ribeiro has obtained various qualifications. Gonçalo completed a Nanodegree in Deep Learning from Udacity in 2019. In 2018, they earned certifications such as "Bridging the Gap between Strategy Design and Delivery" from Coursera, "PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)" from the Project Management Institute, "Professional Scrum Master" and "Professional Scrum Product Owner" from Scrum.org, "CCP - Certificado de Competências Pedagógicas" from IEFP, "Blockchain as a Service" from Microsoft, and "Leading Change in Times of Disruption" from edX.

Before that, in 2017, they received certifications in "Innovation Management" from Coursera, "Digital Marketing - Atelier Digital" from Google, "Project Management Simplified" from LinkedIn, "Strategic Planning Associate (SPA)" from the Association for Strategic Planning, and "Digital Transformation" from Instituto Superior Técnico. Additionally, they became a "Project Management Professional (PMP)" from the Project Management Institute and an "Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer" from Oracle in 2017 and 2015, respectively. Lastly, in 2014, Ribeiro obtained a certification in "Java EE 6: Develop Business Components with JMS EJBs" from Rumos, and back in 2009, they completed an "Academic English" program at Universidade de Aveiro.
