David Guzman

David Guzman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and community engagement. Currently serving as the Sr Director of Program IT Career Pathway and Site Director at Year Up United since August 2022, David previously held the position of Community Resource Corps Program Manager at the City of Philadelphia's Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement & Volunteer Services from July 2021 to July 2022. Earlier roles include Coordinator for Philly Reading Coaches at the City of Philadelphia – Office of Children & Families, Community Outreach Manager at Philadelphia School Partnership, and Event and Volunteer Coordinator at Congreso de Latinos Unidos. David began a career in civic engagement as a City Year Americorps member from 2013 to 2015 and worked as a Verifier at Westlake Financial Services, where responsibilities included verifying and analyzing vehicle loan contracts. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from UC Santa Barbara, earned from 2006 to 2011.
